A Food production company, Foodworths will be celebrating Nigeria at 60 with giveaway free food baskets on Independence Day.
This was made known in a statement issued by the Managing director of the company, Morenike George-Taylor on Tuesday.
The Managing director in the statement said the gesture is to make life more easier for Nigerians after the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The lockdown has made a lot of Nigerians lose their jobs and reduced the income of many. It is hoped that this giveaway would add a glimmer of hope to some families this season." He added.
