The Executive Director, Marine and Operations of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Engr. Lekan Badmus has congratulated the Director General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Committee for the August 15 governorship election in Osun State, Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke, on the occasion of his 59th birthday, describing him as a steadfast public servant and accomplished political leader.
In a statement on Tuesday, Badmus extolled the virtues of the lawmaker, noting that his years of meritorious service in the National Assembly have been marked by consistency, courage and a deep commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
He particularly commended Oke, describing his role and efforts in the campaign as a testament to his political and organisational sagacity.
“Hon. Woke Oke has, over the years, distinguished himself as a bridge-builder and a dependable voice in governance. His contributions to legislative development and grassroots mobilisation remain commendable.
"I am more than confident that his leadership qualities and experience would continue to serve as valuable assets in advancing democratic ideals and fostering unity within the party and beyond," Badmus noted.
He also expressed confidence that under Oke’s watch, the APC campaign would be anchored on discipline, inclusiveness and a clear vision for sustainable development which our party and our candidate will provide, when elected.
Badmus thereafter wished the celebrant good health, renewed strength and greater accomplishments in the years ahead, while urging him to remain steadfast in his service to the people and the nation.
