Fadahunsi Urges Nigerians to Unite, Support Tinubu on 66th Independence Anniversary

Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, OFR, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Industries and representative of Osun East Senatorial District, has congratulated Nigerians at home and abroad on the occasion of the country’s 66th Independence Anniversary.

In a statement issued by his Head of Media and Public Enlightenment, Omole Oluwasegun Omo-Osodi, Fadahunsi called on Nigerians to remain committed to the peace, development and prosperity of the country.

The Ijesa-born lawmaker also urged Nigerians to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and its Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Let us continue to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to actualise his policies and programmes. He has good intentions for Nigeria. We will get it right,” he said.

Fadahunsi called for greater cooperation among Nigerians, regardless of ethnic, religious or regional differences, stressing the need to focus on issues that directly affect the wellbeing of citizens.

“Together, we should focus on growing the economy, creating jobs, feeding the hungry, educating our youth, caring for the sick, and protecting our people from those who wish to harm us,” he said.

The senator said, in his assessment, the effects of the Federal Government’s economic reforms were becoming evident, while also pointing to what he described as improvements in national security over the past three years.

He urged residents of Osun East Senatorial District to participate actively in the electoral process and come out en masse on January 16, 2027, to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates.

Fadahunsi also called on Nigerians to remember the sacrifices of the country’s founding fathers and uphold the values of peace, justice, tolerance and responsible citizenship.

“Happy Independence Day to all Nigerians. As we mark 66 years, let us remember the sacrifices of our founding fathers and recommit to their ideals of unity, peace, justice, and tolerance.

“Though challenges remain, with God’s grace, Nigeria will overcome and emerge stronger,” he added.
